One dress, six photographers, six visions. When photographer Carol Jean reached out to me to see if I’d be up for the adventure, I was so stoked and honored to join! This rad project started last year and is such a beautiful thing. With free reign to create anything we wanted using this dress, I just couldn’t wait to get my hands on it back in April. We had to keep our images under wraps as each photographer on the team shot with the dress and then passed it on, so it’s been very hard to wait until today to share and to see what everyone has created.

I don’t get to create for myself as much as I’d like with the business of wedding season and travel, so this shoot awakened my soul and refreshed my artistic voice. I decided to tell the story of a traveler who awakens in the rainforest and finds her way to a haven of gorgeous parrots where she makes new friends. While it has an editorial feel, I wanted to find a little mystery and an almost fairytale-like feel.
