Sweet lovers playing in the Scottish Highlands, seriously, what could be better? For years, I had this dream of being a Scotland wedding photographer. I had been to the UK just twice when that dream was born and I felt like perhaps I was crazy feeling called to this land, but I knew that I had work to do there. Being able to explore the rolling burns, beautiful lochs, and towering mountains of Scotland with adventurous couples just calls to my heart.
Anniversary Session in Scotland
For this anniversary session, Gabriel + Michelle frolicked around near the burn just beside Loch Tay even as the rain sprinkled down. Okay, maybe it actually blasted down which made them laugh hysterically, but either way 😉 That’s the thing, weather is pretty unpredictable in Scotland so you want to be ready to just embrace whatever comes your way. And isn’t that a beautiful symbol of how a relationship should be?
We kept warm in tartan blankets as we wandered by the skeletons of trees bare from the long winter months. You would never know how chilly the spring air was from the way these two held on tight to one another. It warmed the whole frame! We ventured to this old stone fence that looked to be as old as the countryside, dodging fluffy sheep as we went.
Eventually, we made our way to the rolling hills with views of steeper mountains in the backdrop. It was a well spent afternoon that ended in cozying up by the fire later on and for me, there’s really nothing better!
Now you need to see Gabriel + Michelle’s vow renewal in Glen Coe! If you are looking for a Scotland wedding photographer to capture your wedding, elopement, or vow renewal, just drop me a line! I would be happy to chat with you about documenting the occasion.
Good blog! I really love how it is easy on my eyes and the data are well written. I am wondering how I might be notified whenever a new post has been made. I have subscribed to your feed which must do the trick! Have a great day!
