The diversity on this island is one of my favorite things about it! It’s also one of the few places to get a chill in Hawaii, those mountaintops even get snow every once in a while.

You’ll have your pick of fantastic places to stay from boutique hotels all the way up to resorts. There are so many fun towns, both remote and a little more easily accessible. You can get that Hawaii surf vibe in Paia or experience the vineyards and farms in Kula. The beaches in Maui are amazing and if you come at the right time of the year, I’ve definitely seen more whales here than on any of the other islands.
