MOLOKAI ELOPEMENTS
Visiting Molokai is like going back in time to a Hawaii that is a little untouched, lost in decades past. It’s really cool to see the island and realize that this is likely what many of the islands looked like before tourism built them up. Molokai is slow and peaceful, an island of true relaxation and Aloha spirit. You won’t find any big resorts here and you can count on the beaches being far less crowded than on neighboring islands.
Planning an elopement on Molokai can give you an opportunity to find solitude, natural beauty, and uniqueness. You can definitely create an experience you are not likely to see repeated! There are a lot of great experiences to be had on the island of Molokai!
So what are some good reasons to choose Molokai?
1. You’ll basically never have to fight off crowds.
2. There are some incredible adventures to be found on this island!
3. You can explore rugged landscapes and get off the beaten path.
4. You prefer an Airbnb to a resort.
5. You don’t mind doing a little farmer’s market shopping and cooking at your Airbnb.
6. You are a fan of nature.
7. You like birds! Some of the rarest birds in Hawaii live on Molokai and you can hike to find them.
8. You enjoy a little off-roading in a Jeep.
9. You want to really unwind and relax.
10. Flying in a tiny plane is on your list of things to do.
Sound like fun? I’m so glad! Just keep in mind that Forbes said it best when they commented Molokai wants “Travelers, not tourists.” Give this article a read to be sure Molokai is right for you.

YOUR MOLOKAI ELOPEMENT PHOTOGRAPHER
Being a Molokai elopement photographer is pretty special! I have traveled to Molokai and can help guide couples to the elopement of their dreams on this unique, uncharted island. I also have local knowledge of the island to help couples know what to expect and how to make the most of their trip here. This is not an island like the others, so it’s important to know what it’s like to be on Molokai and how to treat the people who live there. A Molokai elopement is a little different from an elopement on the other islands, so it helps to have a photographer who knows the island!
I always appreciate my time on Molokai, the way it’s like stepping into the past and getting to see a real side of Hawaii without all of the tourism fluff. I really love the natural beauty and calmness that comes with setting foot on the island of Molokai.
If you haven’t read on the other pages, I am an elopement photographer based in the Hawaiian islands! You can see recent elopements here on my blog or follow the button below to get to know me!
